A Math Reader

A short book review from a book loving mom!
Book Title: Ben Franklin and the Magic Squares (Step Into Reading: Level 4)
Author: Frank Murphy

“I happen to read this very interesting book for my seven year old. Ben Franklin was a very bright inventor who invented things way back in the 18th century. Many of his inventions are being used till today. Isn’t that amazing? He did have an extraordinary life and he converted every moment into opportunity.

To fight boredom, Ben Franklin designed a very unique mathmatical puzzle known  popularly as MAGIC SQUARES now. Yesterday when I saw my eleven year old teach my younger one about the interesting logic of the MAGIC SQUARES as illustrated in the book, I knew how relevant Franklin still is. He had stirred two impressionable minds in my own home. “
